The original proposal: As for the pollution and noise problem, a modest proposal: Instead of tailpipes, how about venting motorcycle and auto exhaust and noise through the insturment panel? "Tailpipes" could become "Dashpipes". Then drivers could be the first to savor the experience their own vehicle's noise and waste, rather than some poor sap relying on human metabolism, who happens to be riding or walking behind?
